I'm (Almost) Free!

History paper. Botched it. Botched it nice and proper, just like last time--wrote only 4 pages out of a required 6. However, this time it wasn't also a week late. It's done and over with, unless I'm made to redo it in its entirety, which feels like a very likely possibility given my fears at this moment... but I'm free!

Missed physics and statistics for it, too... I'm going to need to do some explaining tomorrow. Also, I'm going to have one heck of a time catching up on the work I skipped to do the history paper. Joy. Then there's the AIME and the Grand Concours de Français tomorrow. This feels like one of those moments when one is about to celebrate at having finished a test, just before realizing it has a backside.

Friday night and Saturday night, I had some of the scariest dreams in my life. They were dreams about having obscene amounts of homework. These are the dreams that have the capacity to wake me up screaming at night. These and the recurring nightmares consisting of nothing but a befuddlingly abstract something-blowing-up-in-my-face feeling.

One tiring day right after another... I just can't afford to have a petit mort in between. Well, maybe I can. Hopefully I can. Otherwise I will dearly regret posting this here.

If I make it, there will be two beautiful, beautiful contests to console me tomorrow.

I will survive.
